good night god bless

the time has come… the end of the Lotus road… its been fun!

Just p/x’d the Exige S for… {wait for it}… a Range Rover Sport TDV8!

admittedly completely different kettle of fish, the seed was planted when I was given a new BMW X5 for 3 weeks in the summer.

the RR is stunning, really high spec and saving about 30k off list after just 18 months - I think I’ll get this out of my system and return to what I know best when the next Exige (or equiv) is produced

this board has been a fantastic help over the years (first with the Exige, then the S) and there are some really great characters here! i’ll still be logging in, just less frequently.

farewell, goodnight and god bless!

All the best, boyo

Hope you bought the 10 tonne truck from your favourite dealer, messers Bell & Colvill

The 4x4 draw is huge and despite what many think a lot of 4x4’s are very entertaining to drive. I’ve still got a Jeep 4.0 and a BMW X5 both of which get a serious hammering through mud laden country lanes that my Exige cannot handle.

Have fun. After a while the economy gets a bit waring but thats about it. The luxury is nice as are the toys and practicality.

I’m sure (like me) you’ll get a bit bored after a while and get something “Lotus like” again. Even if it is just because driving a Lotus automatically excludes most passengers

and you can still take a RRS to the ring:

Range Rover Sport Sliding on the Ring

and have fun…
