I’ve mislaid the file I kept of hotels we’ve used when racing at Spa Francorchamps, it’s also well out of date now, has anybody here got any recommendations? I know that some hotels near Spa can only be called boarding houses , but I’d like something just marginally better to keep Mrs P reasonably happy.

Forge in centre of Malmedy is quite nice http://www.hotels-belgium.com/malmedy/laforge.htm It’s where Paul Golding (& his LOT staff/crew)stay for the LOT Races at Spa.
Plenty of decent places to eat nearby.

Bloody hell Mike, take some beta blockers fella lol 
Dorint Hotel (may of changed hands) food was iffy, no service was iffy actually for group bookings but nice and very clean. We stay at the Radisson Blu Balmoral just down the road which is very nice also. Both have good large onsite car parking and spa treatment and both 10mins from the circuit, 5 from town. There is another Radisson in Spa itself, not recommended for trailers apparently. And Bernie has a hotel somewhere near the circuit overlooking a certain corner which looks rather sexy… I’m sure Google will help dot the lower case j’s…

Well still there some recommendations fella.
Im staying here when I go in May, havn’t stayed before but it comes well recomended!
