going crazy? or is this possible....

could have sworn all my tyres were running at 29psi… checked them last night (in the bitter cold) and they were all 23psi… could the cold weather really have had such an impact? and then, checked them after 100 miles motorway journey… and they were only 24psi???

whats going on?

29 is too high anyway. Go for something like 23/25 hot.

I may be teaching you to such eggs exigeboy, but pressures will vary a lot with temp, espeically if you’d just been canning it.

but thats my point… is a 20% reduction in pressure just because of weather conditions reasonable?

vs a <5% increase despite 100 miles of motorway (high speed) driving?

have all those measurements been made with the same guage?

The book states 29psi; there must be loads of S2 owners knocking around with the pressures on the high side!

Whilst not being able to answer that directly, on track the temp from thrashing a 48 on an S1 will easily increase the pressure by 20% if not more (eg. 22 to 28 is approx 28% increase)
