Ok fitted new wheels, tyres, shocks/dampers and brakes. The car is just having the nose resprayed before armourguarding at the end of the month. In that two week window I thought I’d go to Horizon Motorsport Cradley Heath and check my geo set up but do I need to? The car was working really well last trackday (old kit) so worried about screwing around with the settings. Will’s Ohlins looked good so is it that easy that I can change it all over and not worry…or should I get Horizon to check it out…just to be on the safe side? Lastly, has anyone here used Horizon?
If you have put on new dampers then yes you should. All Loti seem to loose their geo quite quickly especially with a bit of track work - curbs etc
I have used them for my last service, and I also had some new front tyres, pads and a geo done about a month ago. Feels superb now- went for a more aggressive geo than normal and understeer is a thing of the past now!!
80 for geo. No hesitation in recommending them.
They were quite happy for me to go back for minor adjustments if it didn’t feel right.
Mmm I think I’ll be making the call, I’ve done too much work on the car over the past 6 months to leave it to chance. Thanks.

Do you get understeer on the road ? I havent talked to anyone who has managed to elimate it completly on the road (in an S2) as the tyres dont get warmed up enough ? If you have I would be very interested in the settings they applied, do you have them ?
On track mine is spot on but even at normal road speeds it can push wide sometimes on roundabouts, etc.
There can still be a little on occasions, but on some of the newly surfaced roundabouts near me I reckon a daft speed would be required for it to go far wide. Maybe I should try harder!
They also recommended dropping front tyre pressure to 22. I had new tyres too and think the old ones had gone off so I dont think it’s 100% attributable to the geo. Feels great though. I don’t have the settings but will drop them a mail to see if they can provide them.

Just had my car geo’d at Top Gear Automotive in Wolverhampton.
Rec by lots of MLOC & SELOC guys. My car was quite a bit out - now rectified.
I will let you know how I get on - Silverstone next Weds
I’m putting new tyres (A048’s) on my Exige S2 ('04 performance pack)
I want to do the geo, and put it a little bit more agressive…
Any recomendations?
The difference between the Exige S2 and the 240R are just being the last one 10mm lower front and rear…
…is this changing much the car’s feeling???
Can I lower my car?
You can’t lower you car unless you have Nitrons or similar fitted, you can make the turn in better by increasing the negative camber on the front. You can do this by removing all the shims on the front top uprights. You will then need a Geo done and there are various different specs you can use depending on what you want and don’t mind tyre wear or tram lining etc.
The ‘Waspy’ set up suits me fine.
Sinclaire’s used their race car specs on mine, I have no idea what it was though
the only handling issue iv had with mine is understeer, and i put that down to incorrect tyre pressure, which i think is solved for now, but aint really pushed it yet, waiting till next track day then will go from there, i was too thinking of a geo. apart from that she “handles like a house fly” haha
Have you been in touch with Guglielmi Motorsport? Steve is a top guy and does a fantastic geo set up suited for track use.
Fast and accurate turn in and the grip during corner is so much better.

Well the cars booked into Horizon on Friday so we’ll see? I’ll be going for quite an aggressive setup I think, be good to get the car back on track.
Then just the Armourguard and Volk’s to fit and the car is sorted, will let you know how I get on.
