Gearbox oil.

Service is due, and i have decided to use the Motul GEAR Competition 75W-140 Racing lubricant for my gearbox.
I am slightly confused on prices. First off i checked the Opie price. here- Motul Gear Competition 75w-140 Fully Synthetic Racing Transmission & Diff Oil

Then next checked Ebay and straight away came up with this- http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=181071342966&fromMakeTrack=true&ssPageName=VIP:watchlink:top:en

Is the Ebay stuff counterfit or stock from the 70’s :open_mouth: , as there is a massive difference in price. I know Opie isn’t always the cheapest even with their discounts but that is nigh on a third of the price. :astonished:

Red line 75W 90 you’ll need 3 quart bottles, Don’t skimp it! or you could be sorry
When draining I left mine dripping for 24 hours it’s amazing how much still comes out after the first rush.

Thats what we use, knowing what we pay I can’t see how that stuff can be legit unless they just have stock they need to turn into cash or its counterfeit, Motul have had issues before with this.

Thanks. I suppose the old adage, 'if it sounds to good to be true"

correct price is the ebay one

we have it at 16 € in France

I still have some for 20 pence here chaps …

The price of gold is really dropping!!!
