Just wondering whether anyone else has had a problem with their gearbox. Last night I lost 1st, 2nd, 5th and reverse gears whilst driving home. Limped somewhat slowly home. Gear shift gone completely slack, even when in gear. Now got to try to get it recovered back to Haydons. No perceptable noise or impairment prior to breakdown.
Sounds like a problem with the cross-gate gear linkage rather than a problem with the box itself. Shouldn’t take much to put it right.
I had the same problem last year…only linkage on the gearbox.
