hello

can somebody help me.
I cannot use the 2 and 5 gear for driving, the gear change is possible, but a little bit later the gear jump out?
Can the gearlinkage be the problem?
Can the gearlinkage be adjusted that the 2nd and 5th will work?
Other ideas?

Hi Klaus

Have you checked if one of the engine mounts is broken? The engine will rock if one is broken & the gear will disengage.

if have dismounted the undertray but everything looks good, and the question is why doesn’t “only” the 2nd and the 5th gear work, all others are OK. On the eliseparts instruction page for fitting the gear linkage kit I have see that =>

If you can�t reach 2nd, then you need to shorten the distance between the rod-ends, if you can�t reach 5th, you will need to lengthen the link

But what have I to do if no one of this gears works??
(I haven’t fit this kit, the problems have occured abruptly)
I hope that the gearbox isn’t damaged but I couldn’t believe that.
