I have covered over 40k now with my s2 exige, and am going to upgrade the suspension - been looking at gaz golds, as they seem to be a more sensible price than nitrons - I don’t think I can really justify the extra cost. I guess me question is are the gaz golds a decent upgrade over the standard s2 bilsteins, or will I have to opt for nitrons to get an improvement? The car is a daily driver and rarely do trackwork in it as I race other things, but may occasionally venture out onto track in it. Also been looking at intrax units, though don’t know what these cost, anyone got experience of these? Cheers!
Hi,
I’ve got a set of Gaz Golds that have done 500m only.
Just removed as the car was returned to standard for sale.
Set-up for S2 Exige, so bolt on upgrade.
Will be sticking them up for sale on here net week @ 399+vat
I think the normal price is around 650-750 depending on where you buy them from
Drop me a mail to [email protected] if you’re interested.

Cheers, will take a look - I will mention this to my girlfriend - my birthday is next week and have been dropping subtle hints!
Did you notice a big difference with them on, or are the Nitrons worth the extra money? I suppose I am wondering whether the Gaz Golds are any better than the standard bilsteins, or rather whether they are sufficiently better to notice a difference over the standard setup.
Yes, certainly much better than standard, I’ve not driven an Exige with Nitrons fitted.
Have just stuck them in the classifieds on here and SELOC.

Cheers - saw your plug on the thread on SELOC too! Will have a think. To be fair it was your old advert that got me thinking about it in the first place!
