Looking at putting a full scoop car. What’s my best options other than forking out for one from lotus themselves. I’ve seen the guy selling them on ebay from a original mould but not sure on fitment on the car.

Wait for a 2nd hand one to come up for sale, not common but it does happen, I also think Boothy got his done by a Lotus bodyshop somewhere, a very good job

Yeah thats what I’m doing. Looking for 240r / rgb wheels as well but on the quiet seeing as the wife thinks that’s it for a while with the 260 upgrade and proalloy rad /fans
How much for some 240R wheels?
I have a slightly used sets as well as some new ones!!!

I’m also looking for a full scoop roof. Tempted by the ebay one.
But I’d like to make some minor changes to it similar to the RLS one but one that looks good = moulded.
Best would be to get a double skin one, but in two pieces. make adjustments and then bond the two together.
Speak to Chris Neils (Oakmere). That’s where Boothy got his done. IIRC they re-used the inner mould of the roof and bonded a new outer with the full scoop.
I’ve seen a few and owned one aftermarket roof and they’re all bloody awful. If your car really is your pride and joy trust me only OEM will do.
yea i wouldn’t go for the Ebay special i took a punt on one and they’re shocking, it’s actually the one i gave to CN’s to take a mould off to do there conversions
Yeah i contacted lotus to see if that had one around they no longer needed but sadly not.
I was going to go the CN route and have it done at the same time as the 260 but silverstone were considerably cheaper so it’s going there in 2 weeks.
No because someone on here bought the lot and more lol
I’ve had two Exige S short scoop roofs converted to full scoop by CN’s so I’d recommend their service if still offered 
About how much did they charge you?
I’ve got a feeling there around £700. Drive in, drive out. Might be wrong.
Think it was around £1000 when I asked start of last year
I’ve got an after market one from Hong Kong, spent so much money getting it to fit and look properly that a genuine one would have been the same price and less problems.
I’d have to dig the invoice out to be sure, but it was just shy of either £700 or £800 (per roof!)
