No not coated just painted with Hycote very high temperature paint. Black 650 / 1200 degrees F, They do other colours but black is the highest temperature rating plus I wanted to loose the U bend rather than make it stand out

i fitted the system last year in march, did 3 laps at Dijon Prenois with the decat before i got the black flag…
then i ordered the 200 cells sport cat from jim just in time for Spa, where i had no issues with the noise police

i had a Larini sport cat and silencer before,and they are shite, too noisy and poor quality

Never had trouble with the noise police at Spa and my car is proper loud :wink:
