Fuel vacuum?

I’ve noticed that the engine becomes more restless/jumpy as the tank gets near empty (<11 litres). I’m thinking along the lines that too much of a vacuum is being created and reducing the injection pressure. Is this possible or am I imagining things?

It’s Christmas - don’t be so bl**dy tight and put some fuel in. [image]http://www.exiges.com/ubb/NonCGI/images/icons/wink.gif[/image] [image]http://www.exiges.com/ubb/NonCGI/images/icons/wink.gif[/image]

LOL [image]http://www.exiges.com/ubb/NonCGI/images/icons/grin.gif[/image] its gets restless and jumpy cause its so much lighter with no fuel !! Thats why it says refill when it gets to 11 Litres to keep the weight balance correct [image]http://www.exiges.com/ubb/NonCGI/images/icons/wink.gif[/image]

…I’m begining to wish I hadn’t asked now!Phil - That would actually appear to be a fairly credible reason!CheersPhil.[This message has been edited by X1GGE (edited 19 December 2002).]
