Anyone know the resistance values of the OE fuel level sender? Need to pick a pull-up resistor value to wire my DASH2 in.

Tim, on an S1 the resistance is between about 30 ohms empty and about 260 ohms full … but I found mine on the Black car was 35 and 275. I use an SPA dash in that one.
I believe the tolerances are quite huge … hence the issue with reserve being a lottery.
For the Orange car i used a Pro Alloy tank 60L tank and a VDO sender unit … with a stabilised 5v supply that tank gave the following result for the Dash 2 I’m also using.
BTW … I cannot read my Dash 2 with polarised sun glasses or in bright light and it crashes when it gets too much data … in fact its pretty crap and the after sales service has been very poor … did you take a Pro version ?
Yes mines the DASH2 Pro with the updated display, quite a noticeable difference with the two next to each other on their stand at autosport
However yes I’m sure that sometimes there will be visibility issues, but I don’t wear polarised glasses as issues with my longsighted prescription.
Above is very useful, lets me choose a pull-up resistor with the right order of magnitude.
Hmmm I might change to. pro version then as the rest of the car is set up for DL 1 and Video4 units.
yeah the old display looks milky compared.
Given that humpy dumpty is back in the bodyshop, I doubt I’ll get the dash sorted for Anglesey.
