Fuel Cooling

OK - I might get some abuse for this but if you cool your fuel will this result in inceased peformance ?

We all bang on about I/C’s and Chargecoolers but has anyone looked at cooling the fuel tank or the pump etc ?

Or will the ECU adjust based on the fuel being denser etc ?

Do you run a nuclear reactor in the back ? If so then, yes !

Oh yeah baby !!!

Looks possible based on this ???

Only drive the car in winter…hope that helps

Spa in the snow - tempting

not so many years ago there was a couple of F1 teams who were being investigated for cooling the fuel before it was put in the car, I think there is an advantage just not sure we would notice it

I think if you cool the fuel you can get more in the tank. I remember clarkson doing an mpg challenge in a big audi and he filled up very early in the morning so it was cooler to get more in the tank.

I think you are correct - I remember something about the MotoGP bikes doing this to to increase the amount they got in the tank.
