returned from a great drive around loch lomond and glen coe on monday.motorway driving plus a/b roads,surprised to find after four fill ups the exige s returned 33.5 mpg,thought that was great.any comments

i usually get about 180 miles to a tank
Just checked my S1 out (only got it a couple of months ago) and I reckon it’s doing about 22mpg, which is a hell of a lot less than my old Elise (35 or so). Still - it is a hell of a lot faster & louder!!!

I always get 260 from a tank in the S, and when I had it 180 from my S1.
260? either i’m pissing fuel or you dont push the pedal on the right much?
180 to 200 for me, on a run I can do about 300 on track about 70
I managed about 25 laps at Silverstone on a full tank which cost �50

My car does stain the exhaust quite a lot and the smell of the exhaust fumes in the garage each morning make me think it may be a bit rich though?
I know I know, looking at you chaps I need to go a bit faster!

But I have also notice a big difference between the fuels here on the main land. Best fuel economy is on Aral 100Ultima in Germany.
