I’m rebuilding the front end of my project car having just replaced the front crash structure and fitted a new clam shell. While connecting the front wiring harness I’m missing something obvious, where does this large high output connector fit (circled in red below)??
It looks like it’s wired for 20A. It’s nothing obvious like lights, fans e.t.c. As the front end was partly off the car when it came I don’t recall disconnecting it as I labelled everything else. Any ideas would be appreciated.
There are a few more fuses or something attached to the wheel liner on that side normally unless taken off and stuck elsewhere. Black plastic box 5x3x1/2" I will look what for…
Please note important bit from the manual if dealing with scrap merchants:
A multi-function relay unit containing the engine control relay, fuel pump relay and starter relay is mounted in
the engine bay near the ECU. A similar relay unit is mounted in the front services compartment alongside the
fusebox, and operates the a.c. compressor and radiator fans. Important Note: Although the two modules are
identical in appearance, their function is different and they must not be transposed. The a.c. relay module
A117M0038F has a brown label marked YWB100800; The engine relay module A111E6024F has a white label
marked YWB100970.
