I need to take the front clam off my Exige S1 for the first time.Ive heard that 24 bolts hold it on but I would appreciate a rough guide as to where they are.Can anybody recommend a place for an uprated radiator?

Yeah as Ade says, the guys at Pro Alloy (Alex and Wayne) are the best bet for a rad.

Radiator ordered today.Cant find S1 clam removal on Seloc Techwiki.Are the bolts positions the same as S2

No but they should be the same as an Elise S1?

fixing bolts from memory are (mine only has about three holding it on):

in the gutter around the edge of the bonnet there are four. The two rear ones are the rubber stops for the bonnet height, so make a note of how high they are.

Open the doors and there is one at the top on each side

Then you need a long extension to get the two that clamp the bottom of the clam at the back to the top of the sill over rider. There are two on each side

Then either remove all of the little ones holding the splitter to the bottom of the clam, or go under the car and remove the ones that hold the splitter to the under side

Don’t forget to remove wheel arech liners and also unplug the front clam electrics
