Front clam off

Well over the weekend I took off the front clam, other than needing to tidy up some of the loom that has lost it’s covering I’m not sure what else to do, I already have braided flexi hoses, ideas?

Have you found a shiny pearl under that clam ???

New stainless steel towing eye bracket (or remove it altogether if you have rear ones)

Other than that, I’d just give the oil coolers a once over check for leaks. I did fit some fancy forge radiator hoses last time I had the clam off, although i though it was because I had a leak in the pipe!

Are you going for the triple pass rad conversion?

Sadly not :frowning:

Ah a good idea the tow bracket, which is best Eliseparts?

Yes getting my rad converted as it was an early Proalloy single pass one, I have had temperature issues on hot trackdays so I hope this is the resolution.

Get a front tow bracket from Hangar111, I ordered an EP one and it didn’t fit properly - yes, it was the right one!!

Whilst the front clam is off, how is your heater ?
The control motors that change the direction of flow are prone to seize
Suggested to a certain local dealer that they might look at mine whilst the clam was off a couple of years ago… communication with body shop - nil.
