Great night - will for sure be doing another Donnington evening! Scuffers was giving my car a try and it’s the first time I’ve ever been passenger in my own car, so perhaps now I have an idea of what people experience when they sit in with me - it goes quite well for a little NA car
It’s been too long since I’ve done Donny… so the first session driving was not pretty! - it’s amazing how big the track feels compared to Anglesey, which is where pretty much all my recent track days have been. What an awesome track though… it’s proper quick and by the end of the night Craners was flat in my car.
Car setup went well, and to my delight and surprise we found out that my home made, first attempt Geo wasn’t actually that bad at all ! - still need a few tweaks doing though.
The car was going great Dave it really was and Donny is so flowing it really suits your car. I think I have some vid following you when we were behind that VW Vento shed, I’ll try and sort it out later.
Yeah on reflection I should have done,…and reciprocated. Thanks Dave, I genuinely appreciate the offer and that you trusted me with your P&J,…next time eh because next time won’t be too far away will it!
I’m always really reticent about taking someone else’s car on circuit when I know its not just a car to them.
