here is my dear LHD lotus exige S MY2008
black phantom, performance pack
i owned it since nov 2009 (it took me 15 months to get registered on this board :smiley: )

it has some mods :smiley: : TRD airbox, Larini cat and sport exhaust, Forge IC, Komotec S270 tune and 3.1" pulley

i use it as a tracktoy, mostly in east of France and Belgium.
even i live not far from the ring, i never been there with any of my toys

here are some pics

next upgrade: ohlins dampers :sunglasses:
and still some driver training (itā€™ll always be the weak point :smiley: )

I sit next to a French guy at work who always says,ā€¦why have you got a car called a ā€˜Requireā€™ (his translation of Exige). Lotus Require just does not have the same ring to itā€¦ www.requires.com ā€¦nope it just donā€™t work :crazy:

I always thought Exige meant ā€œdemandā€ - rather more of an imperative

unfortunatly, i have to reorganise my stable as i canā€™t keep anymore all my german beasts

but there is one thing for sure: i donā€™t want to sell my lotus and i hope iā€™ll never do

replaced the M5 and RS4 by another beast, a RS6 V8

the lotus is at a mateā€™s garage to have some mods installed:
-MMG chargecooler including triple pass rad (not installed yet)
-2bular 4-1, decat and trackday H2 exhaust (replacing a Larini sport cat and sport exhaust) (installed)
-LETSLA kit (installed, waiting for a ride to adjust the settings)
-saikou michi oil catch cans (not installed yet)
-3.0" pulley (from monkeywrenchracing) (not installed yet)
-upgraded fuel pump (walbro 255) (not installed yet)
-GT4 rear spoiler

note: i have already a 3.1" pulley and a komotec remap

i (well my mate is doing it :smiley: ) decided to wrap the 2bular stuff with some DEI products (high temp paint and wrap)

front clam off, waiting for the rads to be installed

half wrapped decat (missing wrap was ordered and is now installed)

to compare, here is a pic of the stock cat and header (not my pic)

some comments:
-i had a quick ride with the 2bular h2 (with the Larini sport cat), the 2bular sounds so nice and it doesnā€™t make my ears bleed like the Larini used to, will see how it sounds with the decat now.
the Larini was too noisy and droning, got a black flag at Spa with 105dB

-installing the LETSLA kit is quite tricky, lack of room is problematic

itā€™s his garage in his new house, was empty weeks ago

, but now he starts collecting bits and cars
lift is brand new, and he just bought the tyre machine and will buy soon the wheel balancing machine

That sounds very nice and looks half decent with the front clam off!

114dB!!!

got a black flag (again) in Dijon Prenois on friday

track system measured me several times over 110dB, then one guy did a manual measurement with a decibel meter, got me at 114dB!!

will get rid of the decat as i ordered a sport cat from jim

hope iā€™ll get it by friday as i go to Spa
