I’m all set to do the breather rail delete mod to my VHPD but having found loads of useful stuff in the search I can’t find a description of what people do with their Fuel Pressure Regulator. I’ve seen a few cars with the vacuum tubes looped between the lugs on the TBs, but didn’t think at the time of checking where the vacuum reference was coming from.
The top reference feed for the FPR must come from somewhere? What have you guys done to feed the FPR with a reference?
I may have posted that after a few shandies, so may not have made perfect sense.
The main reason for the question is that I am removing the IACV. The old threads on here have been a great source of information, specifically Dave Andrews description of setting the idle and how to control it. I can’t seem to find anything on whether the vacuum feed to the fuel regulator is necessary.
Does the MAP affect on the fuel pressure really do much for a k series?
And to finalise the learning curve it turned out I was talking about two systems that were not connected. All good now. Not my finest hour lol
