If they are the ones supplied by Lotus then they will be the 36mm dampers. Lotus dont do a 46mm damper (you have to order them directly from Ohlins at a cost of about 2.8k new iirc).
The size 36mm/46mm refers to the size of the damper body not the size of the canisters…
The 46mm Ohlins dampers (although only 10mm bigger) allow for something like 70% more oil to flow through the shim stack over the 36mm kit giving you much more precise control. :thumbs:
Agree, the lotus 36mm kit is way, way better than the std fit items and will transform the car.
Nice evo to…whats the spec? I’ve not long sold My evo 8, engine went kaput so ended up with a 2.3 stroker with a ND Hybrid turbo, ended up with 440bhp and 476 ft-lbs torque with full boost coming in at 2,300 rpm. Loved the car but hated the constant diff/gearbox worries etc.
