For Sale MY 2006 Exige S Reg No X13GES £12,999.00 or VNO

I have owned this car since October 2007 and spent 3 years slowly modifying and upgrading before taking the plunge in 2010 and fully race preparing the car for the 2011 Lotus Cup UK series. The Car finished 7th overall and 2nd in class, only missing out on the class win down to a driver error DNF at Silverstone. This was up against a team fully supported by Sinclair’s with Jamie Stanley as paid driver, so the car was very competitive. All race support and in season preparation was provided by JS Racing meaning the car was well sorted and looked after. With 90K driver the car was weighing it at 980 is kilo’s so also very light for an Exige
The car has been stored at JS Racing since the end of the 2011 season and was recently relocated to my garage on the south coast
Due to changes in lifestyle and priorities I am no longer intending to race this car again so am putting it up for sale.

Now for the not so good
Whilst the car was well maintained throughout its life and during the 2011 race season it has had no attention paid to it once the season ended and is in need of some TLC.
As part of the race prep the front and rear clams, roof and engine cover were replaced with lightweight aftermarket items and the front light clusters removed and replaced with glass fibre covers. Two driving lights were fitted behind the front grill
The interior has been stripped including the removal of window and door opening mechanisms but I still have the majority of bits for re fitting if required
It needs a new front clam and front splitter and although not damaged the lightweight roof might warrant replacement. The lightweight engine cover was replaced at some point during the race season and has not been colour matched, but then again the car will need a full respray once front clam has been replaced .
The incident at Silverstone necessitated a small welding repair to the drivers side lower wishbone mounting point which was carried out with great skill by Pro Alloy. (without knowing about this it is not noticeable on the car and has no negative effect on the cars geometry or handling)
I have tried to cover everything and be as honest as possible. Sure there are some additional bits & pieces on the car that I have missed
Have trailer so can deliver car
