The Lotus 2-Eleven is a stunning example of lightweight engineering and motorsport heritage. A true driver’s machine, the Lotus 2-Eleven was introduced in 2007 as a track-focused evolution of the Lotus Exige, engineered to deliver the ultimate in lightweight performance and pure mechanical feedback. Weighing just 670kg and boasting over 250 horsepower from its supercharged 1.8L engine, the 2-Eleven offered supercar-rivalling performance in a minimalist, race-bred package.
The 2-Eleven presented here, designated as Build Number 071, is one of those road-registered variants, having been registered in March 2008 and sold by Bell & Colvill.
This example is finished in the excellent Motorsport Black, with a dominant central stripe in silver and smaller yellow stripes on either side. The theme is continued with the seats in black and yellow leather, featuring embroidered Lotus Carsus Sport logos and 4-point Schroth harnesses. PPF is applied to the main impact areas, including along the top of the sides of the car where the driver and passenger make entry.
Impressively, this 2-Eleven has covered just 4,000 miles and is therefore likely one of the lowest mileage examples around.
