So here’s the tale
Back in November I ordered some fixed seat mounts for my Lotus Carbon seats. They turned up last week - 8 months !!!
So I go to get them fitted only to find that my existing FIA approved harnesses cannot be fitted as the new mounting frame blocks the hole where the lap belt secures.
So JSR phone Lotus who suggest I buy a new 6 point harness and have 2 big holes drilled in the floor for mounting 
In the end JSR as usual come up with a solution to get round the issue - my question is why didn’t Lotus think of this when selling the fixed seat mounts ???
I’m sure they do it deliberately to fook us off 
Hmm, do you just order those parts without reference to what you wanted to achieve, or do Lotus have the full lowdown on you intentions but failed to follow?
Then again, after 8 months you may have forgot…

I though it would have been obvious to them - fixed seat rail for a hans carbon seat but I supose I get your point on application etc - I supose if I was racing then fooking my car up by drilling holes in etc is clearly acceptable 
Ok my offer has gone down, I’ll swap you my car and a bag of chips. I’m not throwing in a barm for a car with holes in it.
