Guys, I’ve done a quick search and can’t see that anyone else has experienced this one.
B&C have my S1 booked in at the bodyshop to correct the “Category B Floor Corrosion” recall…
Anyone heard of this one before?
Should be loads in archive or SELOC archive, affected all S1’s (incl Elise) to a greater or lesser degree

…LOL rather embarased to say that the car has done so few miles and I really don’t log onto this forum as often as I should
Not had mine done yet - it hasn’t seen the inside of a main dealers for over 5 years now and I would be very careful of letting it go in one now.
There doesn’t appear to be much bubbling of the mat with mine so I haven’t even removed them yet.
The warranty is 8 years so the very oldest Exiges have until next April/May at the latest.
Had mine done at Dick Lovett’s in Swindon at my last service - they had to find something to keep them busy while they were waiting the three weeks for a set of rear A048s…
Had mine done, its was’nt bad so Lotus at MK wanted to give me some fabric mats and not treat the floor and bond new sheeting to the old floor. I asked to have the new floor because if I decided to sell the car it could put people off buying if they lifted the mats. They agreed and carried out the full recall.
