Hi guys. Went to look at an exige yesterday that had some kind of black material that stuck on the floor of chassis. Is that normal or is should be bare aluminium? Thanks

Mine had the following;
On top - carpet mats
Under that - thin felt mats held in place with velcro strips
Under that - mint floor plans
Are you sure the felt mats were not just held in place with velcro or were they glued down?
They are more like a frp board that slap on the floor. I tried to lift it up but I couldn’t. I didn’t try that hard to differentiate whether it is glued down or velcro?
I pulled mine up a couple of days ago they were only stuck around the edge.
No corrosion at all.
