Lotus Exige CUP 240 Lotus Motorsport No. 37 2005
Colour: Flame Orange
Delivered as a street going CUP car with all CUP items installed (without rollcage, with air conditioner)
Cobalt blue alcantara/black leather interior.
I acquired this car in August 2008 and cherished it ever since.
Lotus motorsport in Hethel added the following items in 2009
- FIA Rolcage;
- FIA Master switch (electronic inside/outside);
- FIA Fire cut out system (electronic inside/outside);
- FIA tow hook front and rear;
- Big brake kit front.
- Leather covered centre console
Recent fitted at Lotus Motorsport:
- 260 ECU;
- Bigger fuel pump;
- Lotus Light flywheel.
Car is not yet driven in this new setup.
Except the carbon fibre rear Riverie wing it has only original Lotus parts fitted.
This was in my opinion the Ultimate Exige. Capable of driving around even when it is hot and safe on a race track.
I have used it on only 2 occasions on a track myself. And due to family commitments never took it to the Stelvio pass.
Car is currently at Lotus Motorsport in Hethel.
