fitting replacement throttle body

hi folks

spent 40 mins this pm fitting a new throttle body that i acquired from a really helpful guy on celicaclub.
part looked exactly the same but the cable throttle mechanism is set at a diffrent angle / point on the side of the TB meaning when i reconnected everything the throttle is open 3/4 of the way.
i have released all the available adjustment on the engine bay, but its still 1/4 open. other than bending the bracket that hold the cables near the TB, does anyone know if there is adjustment at the pedal box end that i might be able to gain 3/4" of cable from. thought id ask this pm before i remove roof and assume the “lotus position” in the morning as i have appalling lower back ache at the moment so dont want to wreck it further to find no adjustment is available.

any other ideas suggestions welcome as ever.

on a good note the TB repalcement has solved the high idle / sticky throttle problem

thx

Can you swap the cable mount or quadrant over from the origonal throttle body?

well
that was a pita, but worked fine. the yota cable arm was 1" longer so didnt fit, removed old TB arm and spring with help of cable tie and all good

cheers
