I’ve bought a Quicksilver cat back and wondered if its a difficult install?
From looking at pics of it it looks like rear undertray off and a clamp, but experience tells me don’t take things for granted.
It is on an 08 Exige S, will the undertray accomodate the exhaust without modification?
Is there more to this job that meets the eye?
Its one of those it depends type jobs. Sometimes you need to remove some of the heat shielding from the drivers side in order to get the old exhaust out and the new one in. Just to give room to slip it off the cat pipe.
Also beware in tightening it up too soon as it might need to be slipped round on the cat pipe to get a good match with the undertray.
