Not suer if this will be of interest, however here is my fuel economy I get from my Exige S1. The Exige is completely standard with Air Con (on almost continuously). Road use only.

I can strip and rebuild a lotus twin cam in my sleep, but can I make this image any bigger!!!
Image in oringina file: http://www.vanroheating.co.uk/images/Exige_Fuel_Econ.jpg is fine.
Any help appreciated, I can’t see anything in the FAQs why it would reduce the size?
thanks
That is truly scarey!
How many miles covered in total?
By clicking on “%” tab on bottom right of screen, I can enlarge the whole page.
About 8000 in the first year, total 38k at the moment
No trackdays then, I presume, given the mpg figures!
If so, why not? Get the bloody thing out where it belongs!
I have a 20/22 which I used to race and had back to back class wins in 94 and 95. I still race it occasionally and it was at the elise garden party at Hethel this year. I just think the Exige is such a perfect car. It has the right balance of being raw enough to be fun and refined enough to want to take to work in the morning rather than my company car. I also worry a little that if I was to put in on the track it would start a very dangerous journey on my bank account as the upgrade want list is never ending and very addictive. It took me many years to get out of this with the 22!!
This is a picture of me in the 22 at the Coys historic festival back in 94 when I was much younger (and lighter)
Interesting, but…
Maybe one day
The sooner the better…then you’ll really find out what your car is capable of, cos there’s no chance on the road
Just join the SELOC boys on a sunday run. Problem solved
