Actually it’s about the right size for Gareth to fit in the navigators seat :laughing:

Does anyone know where the real factory S3 rally cars ended up? I know Mr Sousa stuck one into a rock face, not sure if there was ever actually more than one car built. I think it was a project outsourced to a French company rather than Hethel?

There were approx 8 chassis designated to the rally project. 6-7 of them got returned to Motorsport and they built the first Cup R’s with them. Project rally canned!!

Think it was an Italian company doing the work on them. Not sure what happened to the crashed car.

I can’t blame Lotus for binning the plan. RGT class is for gentleman rally drivers…and there aren’t many of those!
