picked car up at 9am from plans got back to cheltenham and got around to fitting maddogs diffuser and 2ubular exhaust and panel kit–

Just got to sort out the cat heat shield now,any suggestions?

I have had the 2ubular on 6 months or so and have gone through a few options from heat shield on like you have now, then to one of Jims cats with heat wrapping and then finally when I got Bemanied a Bemani cat with no heat shield.
I will take a pic later as I have the zaust off (as its going back to Jims to be cut up!)
Basically I have some heat reflective tape on the edges of the clam and heat shielding in place to protect the suspension mounting point.

With the sc I am generating a lot more heat but have been fine with the minimal heat shielding pic to follow

Excellent,thanks very much for that jamie A friend has suggested he can maybe get something fabricated from stainless steel to mimic what is already there.

marc…car looks very nice…colours just go perfectly…silver was my first choice.

Jamie…do you have an idea how loud your 2bular is with a decat pipe? and what induction are you running.

I’m not convinced mine is gonna pass <100db!

Bit risky putting anything else than the Lotus filter on an SC car as the volume of air goes up so does the little its of dirt etc - I was advised to keep it standard

Jim was at Knock Hill a couple of weeks ago and he guestimated it was under 100 taking the cat off will boost the noise.

I am discussing with Jim what the new zaust should be since he is cutting my one up since it was a test mule on an sced car
