Boy, TONS happening on here since I last looked!!!
Well well well… Mr Fox has seen the light! Great choice mate, a cool car!
BOY I miss ‘Shrek’
Fiat 500 Abarth… anyone here have any experience/views? I am in need of a little bit of ‘fun’ here in OZ, tough to achieve with the cops EVERYWHERE! There are some great prices on used Abarth ‘Enessese’ and some toys attached, with 160 BHP… They have quite a good ‘grin’ factor when driven I thought!
Whilst I was looking I also noted the NUTS Abarth ‘Ferrari’ Tributo with 180 BHP!!! Cool car with loads of CF, love the seats!!!.. I wonder with only 499 made they will ever be seen as ‘collectable’… not that I am in that market space BTW!
Hope you are all still dry! We heard on the news here that the UK has had the wettest winter for over 200 years!!!
Great to hear from, you,Pete. No experience of the Abarth but I do love the look of them.
I’ve been out of UK for more than three weeks so missed the worst of the weather. Arrived home desperate for a drive in the S1 but was defeated by domestic chores even though the sun was shining and the roads relatively dry.
Enjoy the barbie!
I considered the 500 Abarth instead of the Mini GP, the Mini won hands down on every count, it want that the 500 wasn’t good, just the mini was better, more expensive as well though. If i had a smaller budget I might have gone for the 500
i owned a 500 abarth ss for a year before i got the exige. great and really fun car.
makes some of the best sounds on the over run. the 2 things that really let it down was the suspensions was over sprung and under damped so it used to skip around and was a really rough ride. the other thing was the seats. you sat way to high and they dont hold you in very way so one of the first things i did was make a seat of civic recaros fit in the car and it made it alot more usable.
either way you will love the car and be very happy with it.
