Anyone else going?? I heard there is gonna be a Lotus GT1 jobbie running in the GT 90’s Revival race.
I may go on Sunday after I have picked the car up from Martin&Steve.
Edited to say it is this weekend (Sat & Sun)

I’m going on Sunday. I’m hoping the Exiges will be out on track.

Sadly, not a hope.
I can only applaud them for their effort in what they are trying to acheive out of the Yota lump but I think they need to start adopting a new team moto…

What’s with you guys that say the 2ZZ is a lump? Do you have one? If you did you might change your tune. I’m puttin down 290+rwhp with 6,500 hard miles on a 2ZZ with zero problems…It’s not the motor that’s the problem…
and now you’ll say I don’t drive it as hard…
Frank
A “lump” is a British slang word for an engine … actually any engine good, bad or indifferent.
So, dont get so wound up - I thought you were supposed to be chilled out there with your sun, surf and electric cars
Yeah I guess it’s just cinco de myao pay back…my brain hurts…now for a day of yachting…if there’s no wind I’ll just have to get a longer extension cord…
I wonder when Lotus will get the tune right on the GT3 in order to it race one day…
OK - so yo need to talk with my old boss - Toni van den Brink ( the guy behind the Carver tilting car ) abour his solar power catamaran
Solar power
They need to have a chat with Adrian at fensport, his “Yota Lump” has been putting out a reliable 600+bhp for years. He is also known for his ultra reliable power plant as he is meticulous in his attention to detail - that’s my 2 peneth worth !!

Shame he doesn’t know what corners are
In most peep’s books, reliable means more than the occasional blasting down a 1/4 mile strip over a few years. Reliable should mean being able to use the car on road & track (3:1), for at least 12K miles each year, without issue.
How was the GT4 racing then lads? The pre-season tests promised some pretty close competition, looks like it could be a nice little series…
David
PS. Top work as ever from the TSU boys .

As far as i was aware his Blue Celica is/was 100% road legal and it is used on the road and the track regularly. Infact it could quite easily be mistaken for a normal car from the outside !!!
Although admitidly this is not the same kind of test that the GT Lotus will be put through…
Is there a limit to what they can do to the engine - pistons and lower compression etc?

Shame that all Mk2 Exiges dont look this good, but could still do with a proper rear wing.

Looks like a ‘Blue Peter special’ to me
Isn’t that the official production run of the Cadena GT3 car from last year…or the biofuel car?
Yep its the GT3 one, the bio fuel car is black with green and yellow stripes

(Sorry, its not a great pic of it, but its the only one I had to hand.)

Don’t think so, matey As Steve says, the one above doesn’t look too clever to me, but given my taste…
Humm… I reckon it might be one of the GT3 ones, just with some junks-esqe wheel arches and a big roof scoop.
From the rear shot, the extended front arch looks like that bolt-on kit a purple S2 had on a few months ago.
