Feasibility of a Chinese 2L K-series (N-series)

Ok, thanks. Would make it even more attractive for use in an Elise/Exige then. Too bad those Chinese don’t seem able to settle it.

In discussions I had with individuals connected to Nanjing, it seemed at the time that they were progressing along the lines of a smaller derivative of the engine rather than a larger one, once they had exhausted the supply of engines that cam with the corpse of Rover.

Perhaps with the announced NAC SAIC merger, there might be a future for the 83mm bore, linerless K-series block? As it was pointed out that NAC wanted to use it, but SAIC had the rights.
