Fan Controller Needed

Can anybody help? I need a 12v fan controller that will support 2 * 5amp fans and has a suitable thermocouple / thermostat that will work within the temperature range of the A/A IC and is user adjustable RE fan switch temperature.

I don’t want much do I!?

Just in case anybody suggests it, I can’t afford and A/W IC. Just want to play with some thermostatically controlled fans!

Cheers…

Why not just switch manually as and when you like ?

That’s too simple! But seriously, can you imagine having to remember that all the time?

I found this:

Any thoughts (I thing there’s a 12v version (DP7006)…

Leaving on would drain 0.01 HP from the alternator drag on charging …very very small…
Gains from cooler air = much more …

I see your point tho … development is fun

Probably will lose more performance due to added weight than alternator drag !!!

I use my car for 1/4 city, 1/2 motorway and 1/4 fun. I’m trying to avoid the fans being on pointlessly on the motorway and wearing out prematurely I guess. I could use a switch, but as you say, where’s the fun in that!?
