Just finished watching quali - not a good omen for 2011.
Vettel 8tenths up on Lewis
So much for new tyres, moveable wings and Kers making it more exciting

Did you see Lewis’ face in the press conference when he heard Vettel hadn’t used his KERS button
Going to be interesting to see this develop but loved koybayashi drifting in Q3
Top effort !
I think this just makes clear Vettel and Hamilton are the most complete drivers in F1 at this point in time, I’d like to see them both in equal equipment.
You’d have to add Alonso to that list however much anybody dislikes him. Perhaps Kubica too, up until a few weeks ago.
Di Resta to Ferrari (or Mercedes) for 2012, you heard it here first.

Well I told ya so !!!
Procession really - So much for the DRS - Button couldn’t even pass Massa on the straights with it.
It’s going to be one of those years me thinks

I think DRS will work better on tracks where you have a longer straight, and where they hit the straight at speed rather than having a tight ish corner at the beginning, as was the case today.
Sky + 'd the race and ended up fast forwarding through a fair bit of it. Not the exciting race we were hoping for, espeically when Jenson got his drive through although I don’t see much differnce between his crossing the yellow lines indicating the track limits and Vettels when he overtook button.
Anyway lets hope the next race is more exciting … but I remember thinking that last year and look what happened
And it’s a full moon and the Youtan Poluo is flowering.
First races of the season are often dull but I saw little hope for DRS being a great benefit to the racing.
Personally I thought this was pretty good for a first race, quite a few fights and more pitstops, leading to gaps closing/opening, etc.
The thing that worried me the most was the additional sheding of rubber from the tyres. That is going to make going off line much harder and hence overtaking harder. I say HRTs are turned in to road-sweepers (can’t be much slower) and run round off-line (which they would be anyway getting out of everybodies way).
