Hey Steve/ad_s,

Good to meet you also, yea feeling a bit hard done by due to a few other cars being rather loud also…you’re right though ad_s (sorry don’t know peoples names - profile name!) it is a bit noisy. Taking the car up to the guys at Lotus Newcastle next week as they said they would have a look into it for me.

Any other input from you guys would be appreciated - loud car barred from Croft Track Day due to 116db at 6000rpm on a 80db day… :open_mouth: (I did get it down to around 104db running at 4500rpm but still too loud for them!!)

Sounds like you need a standard exhaust and a cat putting on the quieten it down, it did sound awesome though just a shame you couldnt get it on track. I changed my larini for the standard exhaust for the day but the larini will be back on by the weekend :smiley:

As yours was 104db at 4500rpm my ploy of tricking the guy with the meter wouldn’t have worked Rich.

  • What do you rev too?

  • Oh about 7000

  • Take it to 5200

  • Took it to 4200 oops. Those bars on the racetech dash are so difficult to read

Result.

Still got black flagged for noise though
