Am I the only one who really doesn’t like that? It seems such a shame to retain the standard Exige S scoop add-on and then add to it again. Too many joint lines, and an ugly step up in size.
I’d love to see something similar but just as a smooth extension of the main scoop.

Yes Brendan , you seem to be “unique!”…
Lol
I genuinely do love the look of it and think it really suits the rest of the car …I say this because there are many other bits on the Exige which are of the same “modular” theme …
Ie.the side scoops …
the access panels…
the splitter…
The wing…
The joint between sills and rear clam…
The whole car has joint lines a plenty, and, as such the scoop follows in this theme …
All personal preference of course !!!
To get a full length scoop as part of the roof would cost around 30 times as much as the superb one from Jamssint … really too inexpensive if you ask me …
I do see your point tho about possibly losing the joiner …Maybe Jamssint will issue a MK2 version !!
I’m unique alright! Some would even use the word “special”
Don’t get me wrong, I ain’t knocking your scoop. If you like it that’s all that matters. I’d just prefer a more neatly integrated design. If Jamssint does a MK2 version that fits nicely against my dainty little N/A roof scoop, I’d be very tempted.
To be fair, I’m not even a fan of the side scoops on the Exige. I think I’d prefer the simple mesh intakes of the latest Elise models.

No Brendan, I’m with you on this, I really would be interested in a reasonably priced full roof scoop extension for n/a exige, but agree it needs more like the current design than this - sorry don’t mean to be critical, just personal preference
I actually do agree with Brendan and stratos on this, thats why I have held off with it.
For me the Jamssint is the wrong shape, its too square on the edges. The lotus one is rounder and I agree on the shut lines.
Obviously these are all opinions
Paul at CN’s is looking at a mould of the lotus MS one that will then be cut in and filled onto the standard roof, should be much cheaper than buying a new MS/PP roof and will hopefully look the same.
For me its like the 2010 spec car, the changes look very bolt on with the 220 roof but look great with the PP roof as it keeps the flow of the car, I am holdong off on fitting the spoiler until I see one as I am not sure it will work with the old front end or standard roof. I hope I am wrong though

I know what you mean Boothy, as I thought the same but then after seeing one of these scoop add ons in the flesh it changed my mind.
I spoke with Paul about this one he will be doing and reckon it will definately look spot on but its all down to price and ive not heard any indication of what he will be charging have you?
just got mine through the post yesterday, its a work of art so nice now to bond it on a firbeglass the scoop to the roof and full respray to the roof too

highly recommended to get one [/quote]
Nitro, have you had a quote for painting the roof or got a rough estimate on cost, i thinking about doing the same with mine but not sure on the full respray cost.
Have got some images of my Reverie fibre glass roof scope. I glued it and then fibreglassed it in, did all the prep work and then took it to a local body shop who charged me 100 quid to spray it. They did make a great job but I cracked it whilst re installing so did a bit of a respray myslef, it is the laquer that has not blended. Will get it re done professionally over the winter
