Pic of my car with newly fitted sunstrip supplied by Mr Pesky (thanks!). Seems to have confired my other half’s suspicions that I am an Exige anorak, but I think it looks pretty cool on a silver car

Bloomin eck Mark, you’ve trimmed it down quite a bit! I originally fitted mine to stop the sun blinding me, but then again, the S1 doesn’t have interior sun visors

Yeah, probably made it a bit too narrow, but being 6ft 2 I don’t have so much of probem with low sun - to be honest only really wanted it for the looks, which really must make me an anorak

Sean, old boy, can I supply one (free!) for your “race car”? Can do an orange background (normal or reflective!) with black lettering, or normal black background with either orange or silver lettering. I would also make sure it’s a “deep” background, cos your’re a short arse like me

The other half clocked my Exige sunstrip last night for the first time. She said I was very sad and it looked ‘boy racer like’.
Thats coming from an owner of a 206 GTi with a s/s sports exhaust.

She also asked what these were in the boot…

Have you heard this one yet “You love that bloody car, more than me!”? First time I did, I replied with “Didn’t realise you loved it too”. Ended up cooking me own tea for the next 3 days

She came up to KH to see what all the fuss was about. So I said no probs will take it slow see if she liked it…
Come out the pits and theres a 360 infront so I just had to chase it. Only remembered who I had in the passenger seat when I was on the straight again
She was not breathing and had gone red. So did slow it down a bit and she managed a couple of laps. Later admitted she tried closing her eyes but it didn’t help

Firstly, less of the “old”!!!

Secondly, yes I will go Exiges.com on the sunstrip front. I do still have the one you sold me at Croft. However I may come back to you on the colours front as the colour of my car may be changing!!!

Black arch spats were a factory option when I ordered the car - clear stuff seems to be the default. You can get similar ones here http://www.elise-shop.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=11

yeh but they don’t get much sun over in west linton…
