Who is doing the site admin now fellas…

http://forums.seloc.org/viewthread.php?tid=388427

Will have a look in the morning

We should look to change te registration admins. Apart from Dave, I think it was only Sean and Damon and they’ve both sold up and are rare visitors now (more’s the pity). I’ll drop David a note,…

did we also want to explore the revamp of the forum layout and titles too?

Been on admin duties this morning…
Every one who sent us an email is now active
Gav also has access to activate people…
I didn’t bother logging on as Damon seemed to ‘do it all’
I will keep an eye out from now on

Cheers Dave

I don’t have the time these days as I now have 5 roles volunteering with my local rugby club Chester RUFC. We are one of the top 40 clubs in the North so it’s a demanding task.

I did send a note last week letting folks know.

Can I ask guys. I have been reading about folk not being accepted for registration. Is this to get onto the site, or is there some other level of registration? Is there any payment involved, club fees.

Forgot to add. I’ve not had my Exige that long, but been around on seloc and the others. I think it’s a great wee forum, Exiges.com. I like that it’s not busy and full of crap, and constant bickering. Yeah it would be good to have more topics on a daily basis, but from someone that’s frequented and moderated on them for 12 years, it is a breath of fresh air to not have to sift your way through piles of useless rubbish and constant turmoil. Debates are always healthy, but it sometimes becomes way to personal on some forums, and most of the time way off topic.

If you’re posting you’re in!

Historically there was a period when registrations were handled exclusively by the site owner (David). This improved last year when a few of the lads agreed to share the burden. Some of them sold up and it wavered for a bit, it’s now back on track.

During the period where registrations queued up the forum got labelled as some kinda elitist fiefdom…which seems to have stuck.

Ho hum…all good now. As you were…

Cheers Ben.
Well I certainly can’t say anything negative. Onwards and upwards for a decent forum and a great bunch of lads.

Edited to say.
I’ll you’s guys busy over the coming months, however, I am sure most if not everything has probably been covered, And I’ll find in the search.

Feel free to ask questions buddy, it’s not a problem.

Yes its a great forum with some very knowledgeable members, fantastic machines and an unusually friendly BS-free feel.

It also has a heavy automotive bias rather than being what I think of as a ‘lifestyle’ forum where ‘which toaster should I buy’ and ‘what’s the best verucca treatment’ get equal billing with Lotus/car threads.

Also no moderation works, those with Narcissistic Personality Disorder (look it up) tend to get ignored and they get bored and go elsewhere.

Ive been stuck as to which toaster I could buy any chance you could help me out Benja?

Dammit if I get bored who else can I ask which toaster to bloody buy!!

Like you make your own toast,…this is the only toaster you need

Boys how you could miss the greatest toaster of all time?! Glassed sided, genius, no more guessing!!!

I thought Dualit was the toaster of choice???

New it was a fooking great forum. I’m actually looking for a toaster lol. But £130. Jeez

Don’t need one when you have an Aga.

Now I used to have that powder blue Delonghi toaster Christian posted and it’s a damn fine machine. Recommended

Graeme, you’re a farmer

I can’t believe that we’re actually discussing toasters, what are you like :unamused:
