Exiges.com Facebook page

We get to find out on the renewal front soon enough, as Expiration Date: 16-oct-2016

So please see this as it was intended,

Yep, and I might have to revise my ideas re Facebook if I’m to keep abreast of news from the peloton!

I do host many domains and would happily take on the cost of the domain if it came to it.

Migration to another forum is the problem, getting all the old historical posts is the hard bit, I have hosted a couple of much smaller (private) forums over the years and the bandwidth\management is not to hard once it is in. There are a couple of companies that even specialise in hosting forums. If it does become an issue I’m sure something can be done, just need some notice and maybe try and find a sponsor or 2 to pay for the software license?

Can’t ‘we’ take ownership of this site?

A coup !
Exigit style

Exiges.com is very clicky and that’s why it’s dying, end of.

Do you really think it is clicky? I’m not so convinced, I’ve always thought friendly and helpful. I know over the year lots have had issues getting accounts, but that problem doesn’t exist anymore

Doesn’t strike me as that and I’ve not met anyone off exiges yet. I’ve had good advice from a few guys on here and hope to get to a TD once my car is up and running.

The track day at Anglesey says all anyone needs to say about this forum and its members.

Does it really matter that sometimes the number of posts is quite low?

Better, surely, that what is said is relevant/interesting/useful/etc. than putting quantity over quality.

Sure there are times that the post count is lower but maybe that’s just because people are otherwise occupied (Euro 2016, Brexit, etc.).

Thank pal!!! Need to go and have a look at that again!!!

Hahahahaha brilliant Graham.
I frequent most of the forums and here I feel welcome and valued. Unlike seloc. Nyloc is quite clicky .

I’m ever so sad to here that. From experience every forum has its regulars, MLOC and Seloc where I also visit could be accused of the same. There is no admin here, we don’t need it, I suppose we could be accused of being boring but not clicky surely? I don’t even mind who it’s aimed at but I can assure you and I’ve met a lot members they are all diverse and very friendly. Please don’t call us clicky, lol I won’t hold it against you

Flipping eck, Graham. Sorry to hear you feel that way. I’ve always found people on here very welcoming, either via the forum or in person. Anglesey TD is the proof of it as someone said.

The FaceBook page could be a great place to put all the banter and here for the technical discussions…

That will just dilute the forum traffic and doesn’t work if you don’t use face twit etc

The intention is that all discussion goes on here, the FB group is a signpost for some of it and to allow things that aren’t easily done on the forum like check-ins.

I’m about to try the first real re-direct from the FB group to a story on here, let’s see what happens…
