I booked today. just been readin the thread, and a bit concerned about noise! 98db, someone said an S1 with de-cat and janspeed silencer might have to be careful. anything i could do rather than fitting a cat?

In view of the fact that noise restrictions will only get stricter, it is definately worth fitting a silenced de-cat pipe from Eliseparts web page
This should reduce the noise reading by 4 to 6dbs

Also posted this under the Donington Collection thread but might be missed. . I’ve booked in at a Travelodge on the northbound A38 near Burton on Friday night for the special room rate of �10(Yes, a tenner). As of today there are more rooms available at that rate and at the southbound Travelodge on the same road. Just a thought.It is a bit of a trek back from Donny and will restrict booze intake but it’s a bargain . . . Has to be booked online at least 21 days in advance. Contact www.travelodge.co.uk

The only Loti not allowed anywhere near the circuit, let alone on the track itself, are Exiges without roofs.
