Exiges.com day this year?

Apologies if I have not being paying attention and missed this, but are there any plans for an exiges.com trackday this year? I seem to remember there being some talk of the possibility of it moving north of the border to Knockhill this year. Or is that just wishful thinking on my part ?

Very wishful thinking on your behalf

Seriously though, it maybe a good idea to start thinking of possible venues… Oulton, Cadwell, Croft ?

Any of them, all great circuits. Although you won’t get Croft or Cadwell on a weekend this year now.

Anglesey?

Jamie had a look at this a few weeks ago, & the only (then)available dates in April/May clashed with the LOT races.

I’m afraid that if a big event is required, then it probably needs to be sorted early in January, & someone will have to “financially” commit to book the circuit. The alternatives, are of course to pick a day being run by the likes of LOT/Bookatrack & piggyback onto it, or ask them nicely if they would be prepared to reserve an exclusive day for exiges.com.

The new owners of Croft can be very accommodating!

Will they let you take yours round on a trailer

Ooooo Ooooooo ooo ooooo oooooo ooooooo Cadwell

Soggy

Why don’t you book it, & then flog the day to the rest of us?

We could time him with our “U Boat” watches, & follow him on our Vespas

Book it at donnington on a track zone day

these happen most sundays when there are no races on.

and are very cheap for a great circuit

Aren’t they the banger racing brigade?

Yes. Can be a few discourteous drivers on those days (i.e. won’t get out the bloody way)

yes but if we advance book all the tickets it will be only us and for a very good price.

Chaps, had a quick look and there may be one possibility for a day early in the year that we could run with an emphasis on Exiges members, I’ll feedback on this over the next few days.

The other option we can offer is a day in France. We can do this later in the year, so perhaps an Autumn Exiges day.

This would be at Abbeville, which is a tight twisty circuit which is great fun. This would be approx 50-60 a car open pitlane, max of 30 cars so would be 100% exclusive. It’s only 45mins from Calais so not far and with cheap crossings wouldn’t be much over 100+ fuel and hotel (So Exiges pissup as well ).

This is an incar from there that I took a couple of years ago CLICKY.

Abbeville is a lot of fun and horsepower doesn’t really matter because its so twisty, I’m up for an abbeville day

never done abbeville, I might be up for it if the timing was right, ideally a weekend, sames goes for donny.

Having missed out on the Exiges.com business for a couple of years now i’d be more than interested in putting something together for you guys. As you probably know, we have great relationships with Anglesey, Donington and Rockingham and could put an event together at any of these venues on a semi-exclusive basis (ie exclusive for a certain number of weeks then opened up to the public if the bookings don’t stack up).

Happy to discuss it with someone if they’d like to get in touch - Pesky?

cheers,

Jonny

There was bit of thread drift for which I was partly to blame and for which I apologise.
