Consider find a 172 track ready clio ~£1000 not much different to renting, if you don’t kill it you can resell it after 
In fact go on eBay and search for “track car” some great stuff for under £2k!
How about our friends at Trackcars4hire? They’ll be at the event anyway as some exigers may be driving Caterhams that they look after.
