Imagine this has done the rounds previously but one of the better I have found…
Nurburgring Nordschleife - Lotus Exige - YouTube
Really driving on edge of adhesion.
Yes, seen it before but still very nice driving.
To bad he had to slow down for Fuchsroehre…its such a lovely place when your Exige settles down into full bump and all four tire’s scrape holes in your wheel arch liners
the comments are funny … people just make stuff up.
sounds like my honda’d sc, is his the same ?
TBH the video looks a bit theatrical as the BTG time isn’t actually that fast considering how it looks.
Here is one of mine where I’m not pushing that hard, taken some time ago (uploaded in 2006) which I should probably find the tape of and do a better upload version.
The car is definately a Honda and I’d suggest a SC version by the noise.

Yours was the first Honda Exige I ever saw in action, I think it was about 3 years ago with LoT at a Le-Mans trackday (Bugatti Circuit), still have photos of your car, felt good about myself in my 160Sport until you blew past me!
In fact here you go…
Great driving by both Mark & Anon - thanks for posting
another favourite, elise racing at Bathurst - I actually get tense watching this - so close to a huge accident

Sorry if these have been posted before but I love it…

14th July 2006
I was in Nantes for a supplier meeting and convinced work I needed to drive over and I was happy to use my own car if they paid for the ferry and mileage allowance.
IIRC that day was stupidly hot and I couldn’t do more than 10-15mins on track before the car temps were getting too hot.
Do you remember the guy who had a s2 Elise as a courtesy car whilst his was in for a service, took it to Le Mans without permission/insurance etc and crashed it leaving the pit lane that afternoon!?
Leaving the pitlane? Grand Tosseur!
Was exactly the same in 2007, when Mr Bean & myself were there with LOT. What a fantastic circuit to drive though - I loved every minute, & have a real hankering to go again
he wrote the car off before actually leaving the pit lane! The exit has a right hand kink in it, he gunned it and hit the wall from memory…

Bowhaa, so cool. Nice track too. Looks like rush hour in Shanghai. Everybody fighting for a space…
It wasn’t that straight forward IIRC. One of the guys with it was the garage owner that it came from Swifts IIRC.
They ended up driving it back to the UK, was all a bit…

31st May, Bank Holiday Monday, get yourself booked on it.
Have no fear Mark, I am aware of the LOT dates there - just can’t get other things to tie in…yet
8th August is now live as well.
I know Marc - I “check out” these things every other day - hoping for one in mid Sept, when I’m aiming to visit Angouleme
