I swapped my Elise for an Exige Sprint earlier this year. Very pleased with it, they are fantastic cars. I’m always interested when I see one on the various forums and keen to talk to owners but I have never seen one on the road.
Hopefully some at LITP this weekend.

Is there a Sprint Register anywhere? As there are not that many around it would be quite nice to know how many remain and where about’s they are.

The Bumpf said 40 cars, year dated excluding 1982.
So far I have been informed 1982 does exist and there were a number of cars made for Europe and Japan over and above the 40.

Would be great to hear from any owners.

Congratulations sprints are lovely…".the turbo wine is addictive and they usually attract lots of admirers especially on the continent.
Loved my blue one. BUT it did not have the “edge” of the S1. Nevertheless you will enjoy every drive in it.
Have fun …oh and please look in your mirrors for the below!

Hi sorry to hijack this thread but somehow I have managed to source the cash to now be in a position to purchasing a S2 and more importantly the Mrs has signed it off. I have been looking around with 25-30k to spend and have seen a few sprints around. Apologies for the stupid question, but other than the limited run and style are there any performance differences between them a S2 Exige S?

Sprints are all 240, so same as the 240PP. The 260 upgrade is a no brainer either way.

Performance pack on all Sprints, part of which, as said above is the 240hp.

Hi folks, new on here and new to Lotus. I just bought the blue 1981 sprint from Williams - it’s a massive shock to the system (replaces a 993 Porsche) but I’m loving it. Bristol area…

Hi from another new(ish) Sprint owner. I bought 1973 from B&C back in September.

I’m new to an Exige but not to Lotus as I had an S1 Elise before I bought the Sprint.

Very happy with the switch so far and even have a few goodies to go on ready for next spring/summer :slight_smile:
