Exige S2 with added supercharger

Looking good.

Thank you. And crucially in one piece!

I took my son to his drumming lesson this afternoon.

I went over the usual speed hump and it was accompanied by a loud ccccccrrrrrrrrrrkkkkkkk noise as something scraped over the hump. Must have been going too fast I thought so crawled over the next one.

ccccccrrrrrrrrrrkkkkkkk

Balls. Something is hanging low.

Threw him in the studio and went outside. My naca duct from the mid undertrack has tried to leave the car.

I was dead lucky that it was wedge and I simply maneuvered it out of the void. I got home, put the car on a jack and put it back in place. Whacked it with my hand and its back in place. How bizarre!

The weather has been great today and I planned on washing the car. It was slightly grubby but with still enough QD on it to make it look like this when it rained earlier in the week

I set to work with various lotions and potions and spent a good few enjoyable hours on the stone afflicted paintwork. Its never going to win an award for the paint , but it will do.

Quite happy with the results.

I :heavy_heart_exclamation: this car.

That looks lovely

Thanks! Good few hours of elbow polish!

Just dont get up close. The front has the odd chip but the LHS and RHS of the lower tub :astonished: tonnes of rash …

That is a good looking car :+1:t2:

Love that, still miss my S2

… more interesting, how did the drumming go? I had 4 years of supporting my lad through his drum grades and it was great fun and improved my guitar playing. I’m nowhere near his standard. Some of the teaching material in fantastic, try the Rick Latham advanced funk studies and watch a Buddy Rich videos. How is that for thread drift, best grooves thread?

Its going well, I think! The school where my son goes uses music that the students like to listen to. My 11 year old son likes 21 pilots and some Nirvana so they teach him the way to play these and then adapt to play other songs. Interesting way to learn rather than the archaic methods that were utilised.

That’s good, he needs to enjoy it to play well. My son likes all sorts of music but for some reason liked funk and Latin on the drums. I got him music books for Led Zep, Nivana and others that he likes but he always wanted to play funk and Latin, for some reason always the hardest grooves. He is a bit odd, takes after me.

Car is at RSTuning for toelinks ( spitfire ) and fuel pump.

Car is up on the ramp at RSTuning now

Looks like I have a weeping rear right shocker , small oil leak ( TBC ) and the aux belt is fraying.

I’ll get the aux belt done immediately , the oil leak investigated and the shocker sent away after Blyton.

There is only the clam to replace now and I have rebuilt the car :sunglasses::sunglasses::sunglasses:

Good luck Andy

So track time was great.

One slight snag was that I couldnt appear to modulate the braking. I guess I could do with some alignment as when I added another 100kgs it braked perfectly.
