Even the spitfire one?
Either way I can turn it on and off

Unless there’s a fuel pressure sensor to the ECU and a blanking plug where the regulator would go, then no.
On and off, but good pressure?
Ethanol in fuel is killing more and more pumps that weren’t designed for it.
It’s great for business!!
I cant tell the pressure. I dont have a fuel pressure monitor. I need a tool to remove the pipe at the engine end.
I only run it on E5 but I take your point.
See you next week?
Can sort collection if needed?
Perfect.
Thanks John.
Keep us posted with the Exige
Hopefully it is sorted soon so you can give it some pedal before winter
I have Spa booked on 09 NOV 25. I am sure it will be fixed / upgraded before then.
If I take it to Spa is another story. Dont want to be a snowplow!
My last day at Spa in November was a decade ago. We had heavy fog till lunch so till lunch, only driving behind the “safety car” but had a great time after lunch with cold air cooling the brakes and lowering the intake temperatures.
That doesn’t sound like a disastrous day!
Update ; It was the fuel pump. Well, more a piece that wasn’t fitted to the fuel pump.
I am reliably told that on the exige there is a nylon like collar that sits below a rubber O ring that helps maintain pressure. My car didnt have one and the rubber O ring had slid down and was offering a whole 4PSI. Yes 4.
Using the finest man maths known I am now having
60L pro alloy tank installed
New uprated fuel pump
New breathers for tank
+ anything else thats needed “while we are there”
It’s good that you find out what the problem was! Nice with some upgrades as well.
Bloody cars eh?
Indeed.
Just bulk ordered tins of beans and packets of noodles. Also extended my retirement date as now I can afford to retire for around 8.9 minutes, down from 12 or so…

Ah what the hell just do it. My grandad used to say “do it, it’s only money and you could be hit by a bus tomorrow”
