We just bought 5 months ago 2 exiges cup s2 and in the 2 ones the left brake disk is the same as the right one, i mean it s inversed.
My question: is it normal? The dealer said me yes all the exiges cup are like that!

As far as i know all Lotus discs are like that.
Crap isn’t it…
yes it s crap even in my evo 6 and in my elise s2 the disc are differents for left and right.
So the left disk can not take off the air correctly coz the vents are inversed.
They just use cheap discs.
Jamie, which pads do you use with the ap5000 discs?
How are you finding the disc pad combination?
Pagid RS14s the combo is great, did manage to boil my fluid but changing fluid tomorrow
What works for one driver may not work for another. The main issue I have had is the increased energy (basically at most tracks an extra gear on all straight!) equals a lot more heat. I have now boiled the fluid a couple of times, hopefully the change of fluid to some decent stuff today will sort that out.
I had the opportunity to talk to a Lotus engineer (one that goes around the country and deals with complaints and more tecey warranty claims) about the issues one specific Cup owner had and I do believe that the standard discs are operating at the far end of there performance envelope. The engineer of course rubbished the claims this said driver was make (as he would some might say). I have had a set of RS14s on the car since New Year and really like the aggressive initial bite. The set were properly broken in by Graham at Plans (4 100-20mph runs) I then try to keep a decent layer of material on the discs by giving them some after a bit of town driving. When they start to squeal I know its time to give them a work out.
On track I warm and cool everything properly (two laps of somewhere like Knock Hill) I need this now anyway due to the SC.
At Donnington while still on standard discs I did manage to kill off the discs which I think was due to me not warming them up and cooling them down properly.
To sum up, I believe brake choices especially pad choices are for the individual to make. In my experience I think the warm-up and cool down periods are critical and cant fault the RS14s aggressive bite.
